Your
application for the 24th annual Littleton-Lake Gaston Festival is
attached. The dates this year are Friday Aug 29th and Saturday Aug 30th.
The Festival will again be held in the center of Littleton. The
Festival's general format remains the same as past years.
Friday
evening we will hold a Town Block Dance with live music, Carnival Rides
and the Food Vendor area will be open for business. If you can, come
Friday evening for fun before Saturday's work.
Saturday
morning Aug 30th the Festival opens at 10AM and runs until 4PM - (+/- a
little). We will again have a Classic Car Show, Carnival Rides, a
Barbeque Cook-off, day long live entertainment, lots to eat and of
course you folks. Last year we had great weather, a big crowd and plenty
of fun (and sales) for all.
Official
business: As you can see the price for each booth space remains $40.00.
The spaces are 10' x 20' on pavement. Any tents, tables or chairs you
may need are your responsibility. No stakes may be driven into the
pavement - the City of Littleton will get upset. All spaces have
electricity available. We recommend you bring your own shade and a fan.
No smoke bomb or fireworks type products may be sold.
The
vendor area is available for setup at first light on Saturday. There is
generally parking near most spaces.
As
an aid to those who NEED dedicated parking co-located at their selling
space, eighteen (18) of our
80+ vendor spaces have a "dedicated" parking space about 8' x 20' for
one car/van/pickup size vehicle. When added to your selling space this
makes a total area of 18' x 20', half for selling and half for parking.
Our intent is to reserve these 18 spaces for vendors who NEED to have
their vehicle at their selling location for either business or personal
reasons. The additional charge for the extra dedicated parking space is
$20.00.
Cancellations
for a full refund can be made up until Aug 20th. There is no backup rain
date for the Festival. If something seems questionable to you, it
probably will to us also. Give one of us a call and we'll work it out.
Please
note, the Festival sponsors assume no liability for personal injury,
theft, fire or vandalism.
On
Aug 21st we will mail out an info update and map of the Festival area
showing your location. Contact us if you have any questions. Our
telephone numbers and e-mailing addresses are noted below. See you Aug
30th.
